CAC has been an industry leader for more than ten years. Our consultants are experts in college placement, both nationally and locally. All of our consultants have had training and experience in high school counseling departments and are very familiar with both sides of the application process.

JANE WILLIAMS M. Ed., Owner-Consultant

Graduating from the University of Michigan, obtaining a Master’s degree from Michigan State University and granted admittance to the distinguished IECA organization as an Professional Member, Jane has developed her skills and knowledge to become an outstanding college consultant. As a staff member for the Counseling Department at Seaholm High School in Birmingham, Michigan for over eight years and completing the graduate course, Counseling in the College Selection Process, Jane was able to meet college representatives, learn about college programs and scholarships and evaluate the components that comprise a great application. Jane has traveled to hundreds of colleges and universities to familiarize herself with educational offerings and their collegiate environments in order to find the right college fit for students. As an Independent College Consultant for the last ten years, Jane has helped students successfully apply and gain admittance to numerous colleges of their choice.


JULIE GOULD M.A., L.P.C., N.C.C., Consultant

Earning a BA in English from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and an MA in Counseling from Oakland University, Julie has a talent for working with students. Julie’s career as an educator spans over 15 years. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor and has completed specialized graduate coursework in college selection counseling. Prior to consulting, Julie began her career as an English teacher at Bloomfield Hills Andover High School before becoming a guidance counselor at Birmingham Seaholm High School. During that time, Julie evaluated hundreds of students’ college essays, assisted students with the college application process, met with college representatives from all over the country and led numerous evening college events for parents and students. Whether it’s editing essays or searching for the perfect college, Julie has a passion for empowering students to recognize and celebrate their personal strengths. Julie is eager to share her knowledge and experience with students as they make the important transition to college.


MARTHA MOYER JD, NCAA., NCAA Compliance Specialist

Member: MACAC

Martha Moyer recently joined CAC to provide guidance with athletic recruiting and NCAA compliance. While a collegiate varsity athlete herself, albeit in the pre Title IX era, she has in depth knowledge of NCAA compliance through the experiences of her children — both varsity athletes who were recruited/competed in all three NCAA divisions. In addition, her long legal career, including the past ten years as General Counsel to a tier 1 automotive supplier, prepares her to assist student athletes as they consider athletic participation beyond high school.

Educated at Michigan State University and the University of Detroit, School of Law, Martha has served on MSU’s Alumni Board of Directors and on the board for Birmingham’s Baldwin Public Library. As an employee of Birmingham Public Schools, she worked in the Counseling Department at Seaholm High School. Martha currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Japhet School, an independent, co-educational day school.

JESSICA FOWLE B.A., Consultant


A graduate of Kalamazoo College with a degree in English, Jessica has dedicated her career to working with students and families to find the right college environment for mutual success. Jessica brings 15 years of experience in selective college admission to her work with College Admissions Consulting, most recently serving as Associate Director of Admission at Kalamazoo College. To further confirm her passion for and expertise in individual college counseling, Jessica took the graduate course, Counseling in the College Selection Process, in 2013. She serves as a delegate to the National Association of College Admission Counseling (NACAC), representing the interests of the Michigan Association of College Admission Counseling. She has presented about the college selection process at the state and national level. Her first passion is working with students and their families, and she is thrilled to be bringing her knowledge and talent to the CAC team.
