This is an undergraduate college admission application that students may use to apply to any of the over 800 member colleges and universities who utilize it.

 We offer tips and suggestions to help you know which teachers to ask and how to give them the information about you, so that they will be able to write outstanding letters of support.

 CAC consultants are trained to evaluate standardized testing and will make recommendations as to which tests to take and which scores to send to colleges.

 “The sooner, the better.” CAC consultants can help students get organized and make suggestions that will improve the chances of admittance.

 Our consultants have read hundreds of essays. We know what admission advisors are looking for in an essay and how to make a good essay even better.

 ED is Early Decision which is a binding agreement between you and the college of your choice and EA is Early Action which sets up a deadline for submitting an application in order to hear back early from an institution.

 CAC consultants can take the guess work and the stress out of the picture by giving guidance and knowledge about the entire procedure.

 CAC counselors believe that the student resume is the backbone of the application. We consult students regarding their activities and their service involvement. We never “package” a student. Instead we make sure that the student has involvement in areas of their personal interest. We provide a template and help students construct a document that highlights the student’s personal strengths.

 A “target” school is one in which your chance of admission is 50/50. The chance for a “stretch” college is a lower percentage for admission. CAC counselors have been working with students across the country for years and have a very good knowledge of students’ statistical chances of admission. We know how to construct a college list that has “stretch”, “target” and “for sure” colleges on the list.

 CAC consultants give mock interviews that help students prepare and feel more relaxed when they are meeting with college admission advisors.

 All of our CAC consultants have worked or are working in a high school setting. We know the type of rigor colleges are looking for on a student’s transcript. Depending on a student school of choice, we will advise on the appropriate curriculum that is necessary for admission.

 We make sure that each of our student clients has an outstanding college list that includes schools that have a strong likelihood of admission to colleges that might be a reach for them. Looking at a student profile and statistics, we are able to formulate a college list based on facts rather than guess work.

 It’s all about the “fit” for us. We make sure that students analyze location, college size, majors offered, student culture, and we make sure that students develop that gut feeling that tells you when something is right. We help students find the right college fit, keeping in mind the student’s parameters and parent’s financial concerns.
